It’s true, we humans are creatures of habit. As we engage in our habitual behaviors, we create deep pathways in our psychology that support the actions and reactions we make every day. Many of our habits are helpful and create routines in our life that help us harmonize with our environment and other people. However, some of our habits can be counterproductive to peace, harmony, and useful, supportive routines.
Habitual patterns that don’t support our wellbeing show up in our lives like addictions, out of balance relationships, overworking, overthinking, and anything that we engage in repeatedly that causes negative consequences.
