Everything is vibrating, this only physical existence dances at different vibratory frequencies. High vibrations feel good, energizing, and life enhancing. Low vibrations feel stifling, oppressive, and block the flow of life force through us.
Shame has a very low frequency, and on the totem pole of emotions, it sits beneath fear as the very lowest and most oppressive emotion we can experience. If you can move up a rung, moving from shame to fear, you might notice that fear has more vitality to its expression within you. Shame, however, can be debilitating. It feeds depression and anxiety, stifles our creative potential and thwarts life's biggest joys.
